Finding Help and Sending Feedback

Getting Help

To get help:

Under the ReportMagic logo, click the Help icon

Expand and collapse sections to navigate the Help
For help on individual macros, expand Writing Reports, then the All the Available Macros topic

On any page where you see a icon, click it for more help
Use the Search function
Contact your account representative
Request support via the Feedback button

Searching

Use ReportMagic's Search feature to quickly find what you are looking for, such as a name of a Schedule, macro definitions, a filename, a user and anything in the Help. To search:

Click the magnifying glass below the ReportMagic logo, or use CTRL + ALT + S to open the pop-up.
Enter some search text.
Choose to Search Everything or to narrow the search, use a shortcut code or the drop-down to select a category.
c:search term to search Connections
f:search term to search Files
h:search term to search Help
m:search term to search Macros
p:search term to search Macro Parameter Defaults
s:search term to search Schedules
t:search term to search Tenants (SuperAdmin only)
u:search term to search Users
Click the Go button (or press Enter).
If you chose Everything, results are shown in the relevant categories.
Click an item in the results to go to it.

Note: When searching remote file systems such as SharePoint, search results are limited by the remote file system's capabilities. For example, SharePoint searches only search using the start of the filename.

Sending Us Feedback

To give us your feedback about anything in ReportMagic:

Under the ReportMagic logo, click the speech bubble button .

To see the feedback you have previously sent:

Click your gravatar to access your Profile page then click the My Feedback link.

As a Tenant Admin, view feedback entered by all users from your company:

From the Admin menu, click Feedback.
