My Notifications
Overview
Notifications generated by Magic Suite apps currently use email as the delivery format (but could include other methods such as SMS in the future). There are generally several ways that Notifications may be generated:
- A new Tenant is created - the new Tenant Admin will receive a welcome email
- A user is added to an existing Tenant - the user will receive a welcome email
- ReportMagic macros (such as
[EmailReport:]and[Email:]macros) result in a report, or a section of a report, being emailed
Notifications may also be associated with a Connection (i.e. an SMTP Connection) and a Report Job (when generated by a macro in ReportMagic), and they may also have attachments, especially in the latter case.
My Notifications
The My Notifications page shows all Notifications that were sent to you. It is a read-only table and cannot be modified.
The table also allows you to view an email-like pop-up which shows the notification details (and allows you to download any attachments) in a more readable format. Simply double-click a row in the table, or select a row and use the View button in the toolbar above the table.
Accessing My Notifications
You can access the My Notifications page from any Magic Suite app:
- Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the menu bar to open the My Profile page
- Scroll down to the My Notifications card
- Click the My Notifications link
