NCalc101 - Workspaces
Workspaces in NCalc101 help you organize your calculations, expressions, and notes into separate, manageable areas. Each workspace acts like a project folder, keeping related work together.
What is a Workspace?
A workspace is a collection of expressions, variables, and results. You can create multiple workspaces for different tasks, subjects, or projects, making it easy to switch between them without losing your work.
Creating a New Workspace
- Click the New Workspace button or select Create Workspace from the menu.
- Enter a name for your workspace (e.g., "Physics Homework" or "Budget Calculations").
- Click Create to start working in your new workspace.
Switching Between Workspaces
- Open the workspace selector or menu.
- Choose the workspace you want to work in from the list.
- Your expressions and results for that workspace will be loaded automatically.
Managing Workspaces
- Rename: Edit the name of a workspace to keep things organized.
- Delete: Remove a workspace you no longer need (be careful, this will delete all its contents).
- Duplicate: Copy a workspace to use as a template for new projects.
Why Use Workspaces?
- Keep calculations for different topics or projects separate.
- Quickly switch between tasks without losing progress.
- Organize your work for better productivity and clarity.
