NCalc101 - Workspaces

Workspaces in NCalc101 help you organize your calculations, expressions, and notes into separate, manageable areas. Each workspace acts like a project folder, keeping related work together.

What is a Workspace?

A workspace is a collection of expressions, variables, and results. You can create multiple workspaces for different tasks, subjects, or projects, making it easy to switch between them without losing your work.

Creating a New Workspace

  1. Click the New Workspace button or select Create Workspace from the menu.
  2. Enter a name for your workspace (e.g., "Physics Homework" or "Budget Calculations").
  3. Click Create to start working in your new workspace.

Switching Between Workspaces

  1. Open the workspace selector or menu.
  2. Choose the workspace you want to work in from the list.
  3. Your expressions and results for that workspace will be loaded automatically.

Managing Workspaces

  • Rename: Edit the name of a workspace to keep things organized.
  • Delete: Remove a workspace you no longer need (be careful, this will delete all its contents).
  • Duplicate: Copy a workspace to use as a template for new projects.

Why Use Workspaces?

  • Keep calculations for different topics or projects separate.
  • Quickly switch between tasks without losing progress.
  • Organize your work for better productivity and clarity.

Workspaces make it easy to manage complex or ongoing calculations in NCalc101. Try creating a new workspace for your next project!
