The Merlin app

Merlin is the Magic Suite assistant. You can talk to Merlin from the chat panel on every page of Magic Suite, and that does not change. The Merlin app is where you look after Merlin itself.

Opening the Merlin app

Choose Merlin from the app chooser (the grid icon at the top left of every page), or from the menu of the Home app, or go to www.magicsuite.net/merlin.

The Merlin app appears only when Merlin is switched on for your organisation. If your Tenant Administrator has switched Merlin off, the app is not shown in the chooser, and going to its address shows the message "Merlin is not available for your organisation."

What you will find there

• What Merlin can do: a link to the Merlin help, covering what you can ask Merlin and how it uses your data.
• Merlin for your organisation: shown to Tenant Administrators only. It opens the Merlin settings for your Tenant in the Admin app, where Merlin is configured.

The chat stays where it is

You do not need to open the Merlin app to talk to Merlin. The chat panel is still available on every page, so you can ask a question about the report or connection you are looking at without leaving it.
