DataMagic - Quick Start
Create Your Account
To start using DataMagic now, for free and with no payment details requested:
- Sign in to https://data.magicsuite.net with a Microsoft company account.
If you're the first person in your domain, you're designated as the administrator. - Ensure you have ready a read-only Meraki API key.
Now add your Organizations.
Add your Organizations
- On the left, from the Admin Menu, click Organizations.
- On the Organizations page, click Create.
- Read the first page of the wizard that appears, then click Next.
The wizard checks to see if your company already has Meraki Connections set up and if so, shows them. - To create a Meraki Connection click Create.
- Enter the name, Meraki API Key and any description.
- Ensure the Meraki Region is correct or leave as Default.
- Click Save to create the Meraki Connection.
- Click + button to select the Connection, then click Next.
The wizard checks to see if there are any Organizations associated with the API key you used to create the Meraki Connection.
Tip: If you do not see the Organizations you expect, check your API key is valid. - From the available Organizations shown, click the + button to select the ones you wish to monitor then click Next.
- If an Organization is already being monitored by DataMagic, you cannot select it again and the + button will be greyed out.
- When your Organizations are added:
- Close the wizard
- View the Meraki Estate/Organizations page in a few minutes to see data being populated
