ConnectMagic: Sync Studio
Sync Studio
Sync Studio is the visual workspace for authoring a sync version. It shows the whole integration as a diagram and lets you edit each part in context. Sync Studio is designed for desktop-width screens; on a narrow display it asks you to use a larger window.
Layout
The screen is a set of resizable panels around a central diagram:
- Sync Diagram — the state at the centre with each connected system arranged around it. Click a node to select it; the other panels follow your selection.
- Sync Version — pick and edit the version (name, description) and see which is active.
- Connected System — the selected system's name, description, enabled state and its read/write rules (Can Write, and Create/Update/Delete In and Out).
- State DataSets — the state datasets in this version.
- Query Editor — for the selected dataset, its mappings and constants.
- Mapping Editor — edit a single mapping: name, direction, and the System and State expressions.
Toolbar
- Activate Version — make this version live.
- New Version — begin a new version.
- Back to Editor — return to the tabbed Sync Editor.
