AlertMagic - Deployment Targets

A Deployment Target is a deployed instance of the AlertMagic engine - the runtime that receives notifications and processes them into incidents. Typical targets are Panoramic Data's staging and production environments, or a customer-hosted deployment. Integrations are assigned to a Deployment Target, and most customers use a target that Panoramic Data operates for them.

The Deployment Targets page

The page lists your Deployment Targets and lets you create, edit, and delete them. Each record holds:

  • Name and Description - how the target appears when assigning Integrations to it.
  • Base URL - where the deployed environment is reached.
  • System Username - the identity the deployed environment uses when authenticating back to Magic Suite to fetch its configuration.
  • Created and last modified timestamps.

The table can be searched, filtered, sorted, and downloaded. If there is a column or some data you need that is not shown, please contact us.

Authentication secrets

The page can generate or regenerate a target's Authentication Secret. The deployed environment presents this secret when it authenticates to Magic Suite, so after regenerating you must update the deployment with the new value - the old secret stops working. Regenerate if a secret may have been exposed, or as part of routine credential rotation.
