Connecting to Jira
To set up Magic Suite apps to connect to your Jira system:
- From the Admin menu, click Connections
- Click the Create button
- Enter a name (e.g. "Jira Production" or "Jira Test") and optionally, a description
- From the Type drop-down, select a Connection type of Jira
- Set the URL field to your Jira hostname, for example https://myjira.com
- If authenticating using a Personal Access Token (recommended):
- Leave the User name field blank
- Set the Password field to the Personal Access Token
- If authenticating using Username/Password:
- Set the User name field to the username to connect with
- Set the Password field to the password
You may now:
- Use

macros - Set up multiple Jira Connections and choose the default via the Admin => Macro Defaults page, or use a
[Jira.Connection:]
