Connecting to Highlight
To set up Magic Suite apps to connect to Highlight:
- In Highlight, create an API token
Next:
- In ReportMagic, from the Admin menu, click Connections. Or in the Admin app, click Connections
- Create a new Connection with:
- A name and an optional description
- Higlight as the Connection Type
- The URL of the Highlight API (which is currently https://reportingapi.highlighter.net/)
- The User name field left blank
- In the Password field, enter the API key (e.g. xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx)
- Click Save
- Check that there is a Macro Parameter Default which points to this Connection. This will be used by Highlight macros
- In Report Studio, check the Connection works by running the macro below - which lists all folders:
