Audit Logs

Magic Suite apps generally record audit logs for most actions performed by the system, as well as changes made by users.

As an example, when a user logs in, the "Person" entry in the database gets updated to update the LastLoginDateTimeUtc. Likewise, when using ReportMagic and running a report, items such as Schedules and Batch Jobs get updated during report processing. Any changes to such entities are also logged, with a "Before" and "After" status of each object.

Panoramic Data keeps Audit Logs for at least 365 days, and Tenant Admins may view them in the Admin App - as well as search and filter those entities to find specific items.

It can be useful to inspect the Audit Logs from time to time, especially for example if you are running reports in ReportMagic and encounter various errors. The Audit Logs (as well as ReportMagic UI and debugging tools) may help to identify any problems that occur.
